This is Cheryl Hines – Wife, Mom, part time caregiver, full time home schooling teacher, free lance writer…  hmm, let’s see, what else?

I am officially mother of 9 wonderful children.  Their Dad, Mark, and I have been married over 28 years now.  Add to that Mark’s mom and dad, who live right next door, and we are one big happy, though harried, family.

I am a follower of the Lord Jesus, my Savior, and have come to depend more and more on Him in my daily walk.  When times have been hard – even scary – I have learned to trust God. My hallmark verse is:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your steps. Proverbs 3:5 & 6

You will learn in my blog that I have not always perfectly followed Him.  A sure sign that I am failing to listen to His gentle guidance is when even the simplest things go awry.

In matters of health and finance, I have learned much and continue to glean from  books and practical experience.  Life has a way of teaching – if only we will listen and learn!

I want to share my failures as well as the praises/blessings as a wife, mom, business woman, healthcare provider, etc.
