Beating the Flu!

OK – I get lots of folks asking me how we stay healthy without taking flu shots and not having doctor visits.  Some think we are nuts for taking our chances with the flu and other moderately serious  sickness.  I frankly think that they are taking their chances with the flu shot!!  But all opinions aside, I firmly beleive that a person that is healthy can weather the flu seasons and be better for it IF they take proper precautions and adhere to sensible lifestyle habits.

I believe that except for few individuals that have poor immune systems, no one need to fear the flu.  The problem enters in that many more of us have weakened immune systems — by choice!!  Now who in their right mind would choose to have a weakened immune system?!  Mostly it is due to ignorance but partly due to carelessness.  You see, many of us take our body’s health for granted never thinking that what we do and how we eat has anything to do with how our body functions.  Oh how naive… [Read more...]

Update on MMS

edit: The following is for educational purposes. Since I believe in our fundamental right to decide how to treat my personal health and that of my family, I have left the comments which follow. However, it seems many are not using this right with prudence. I advise you to do your due diligence as with any new therapy and NEVER take chances with yours or your family’s health. Proceed with caution.

I occasionally get comments on my article on Beginners guide to MMS so I thought I might update my own experience with it.

My family and I use MMS to brush our teeth.  We apply it to bug bites with great success.  Perhaps it would be helpful to take more often, I don’t know, but we get great results with it in any case.

When brushing my teeth, I have not had a negative check up in over a year.

A simple warning to those who think if a little is good a lot must be better:  not so with MMS.  It is easy to think you can handle more but be warned that your body will go into a strong detox with flu like symptoms for a day or so.  Not fun.  So, go easy and add a drop or so every few days till you reach the 18 to 24 drop dose.

Update!!  MMS has been determined to be dangerous by the FDA.

I think this has been due to incautious, irresponsible use of MMS which has brought many to the ER for flu-like symptoms. As many of you will recognize, this is in reality is an extreme body detox and will pass given time.  But because of careless users, the FDA is cracking down on sources and proponents of MMS.

Therefore, I can no longer advise you taking MMS for internal use. Use at your own risk.

Family Time

Holiday time is family time.  We were blessed to have my daughter, her husband and my first grandson visiting.  Almost like old times but not quite.  Holding little Gabriel was like old home week for me – just as natural as holding one of my own.  It was nice to know I wasn’t the one having to get up with him in the middle of the night : )

Lord willing this will be a year of change – good changes.  I hope to trust in God’s grace more, love others more, be the mother I always dreamed of, wife too…

I have come face to face with my age this year.  Though it is not diagnosed, I have several rough sore moles so I am a bit edgy.  I am treating them with Vitae Elixxir (VE).  I will keep you posted with the VE treatments.  I did a trail treatment on some flat, keratosis cancers on my arms and they came out with “roots”.  So this treatment is more involved.

The one mole on my shoulder was as big as a tomato seed.  But after treating it with VE is has grown to the size of a dime!  Cancers are bigger than they look on the surface kind of like an iceberg – 1 part visible; 9 parts down below!

I guess I am going to take my own advice and do raw veggies and juices sort of a Halleluia diet.  I will be documenting this on my www.justnaturalcures.com so if you are interested in keeping up with it read about it there.

Keep me/us in your prayers.  And God be with you, too!

Body Detox Gearing Down

Now is not the time to start a detox at least for me.  I am a full time homemaker, mother of 9, caregiver for 2 elderly in-laws, manager of a home business.

I found out the hard way that I cannot do a strict detox regimen.  Headaches, debilitating tiredness, nausea, etc.  All these made life miserable for a few days.

I have adjusted my plans to detox to a more gradual program, one that is less strict but effective in the long term.

Here is my plan.  I will drink fresh water throughout the day.  I will eat a good fruit based breakfast with an egg from time to time.  I will have small portions of whatever main course is being served but eat it with a large salad of dark leafy greens and mixed raqw veggies.

It will take longer but I can continue to  serve my family and know I am feeding my body well, too.

Starting a Body Detox

My daughter number three, Becca, has challenged me to do a detox with her over the coming winter break.  She needs it and I really could use it, too.  So we have become accountability partners.

Here is what we plan to do:

  • For the next four days we are eating only raw fruit and veggies.  I will use a light dressing made of ACV and a touch of olive oil/flax oil with herbs.
  • We will drink plenty of fresh well water and herb teas.
  • ON Monday, the 17th, we will go to just fruit and vegetable juices.  I will add Perfect food by Garden of Life to “fill in the blanks”.
  • I am also doing interval training to help ramp up my metabolism.

I will keep you up to date with the progress as well as any modifications to the cleanse as we go along.
