OK. By now, you may already know I talk a lot about caring for my aging in-laws. I am both blessed and stressed – to be quite honest. There is no way to really know what it is like to care for the elderly, especially your own family members until you are neck deep in it!
We are called the “Sandwich generation” because we chose to extend our family size to fit a full generation. While our oldest may be in their 20′s we may have a preschooler or two, too!
Add to that our own folks needing some form of care, and hence a club sandwich!! And it is a tall order for those of us in the midst of it. I am here to tell you, were it not for the daily grace extended to me by my own loving Father, I could not do it!
