Any of you who have read my Never Catch Another Cold ebook may remember me mentioning MMS, short for Miracle Mineral Supplement. For a good overview of MMS read my earlier article on MMS for Dummies.
That said, I have been taking it on and off for over a month. I say on and off because it has been hard for me to take. I have been taking it in water, though, and Jim recommends taking it in apple juice. I guess it is because I have an aversion to the smell of bleach, which is a by-product of mixing up MMS with the citric acid or vinegar. My husband and daughters don’t have a problem with it it’s just me, I guess.
Anyway, from my experience, MMS is making a huge difference in my immunity. I just don’t get sick anymore. [Now, I may get nauseous due to the MMS which just means I am taking too much. I need to remember to back it down instead of having the "more is better" syndrome.]
What can you learn from this? When you begin to take MMS, follow the dosage levels of 1 drop the first time, 2 the second time, 3 the third time, etc… till you get to a level that you feel nauseous (hey, it only means we are throwing off toxins – while it is not comfortable, it is not bad). When you begin to feel fine again a day or two later, continue to increase the drops till you get to your optimum level (roughly 3 drops for every 25 pounds of body weight). It is recommended to maintain this level for a month.
Then a good maintenance level is 1 drop for every 25 pounds daily.
Jim is now saying to use citric acid as the catalyst. At first he was recommended apple cider vinegar (which I still prefer). The reason for the change is that some of us are sensitive to ACV due to having a yeast over growth. My feeling is that unless you know you have yeast problems, don’t worry about using ACV.
Also, use half the amount of ACV than you use of Citric Acid. I use a 1/4 teaspoon ACV to up to 12 drops; 1/2 teaspoon up to 24 drops. Use twice that amount of citric acid.
Let me know what your experiences are with MMS. Since this is so new, I think it would be great if we could maintain a site with testimonies on MMS.
